Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization within the dining area.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all orders are accurate and meet quality standards before serving.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate order delivery.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs promptly.
• Help with catering events as needed, ensuring that all food handling practices are followed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance overall guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift items as necessary.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
• Experience in catering or working in restaurants or hotels is a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
