Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated
• Serve meals and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Assist with setting up tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
• Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Handle guest inquiries professionally and resolve any issues efficiently
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, daily specials, and restaurant policies

Skills

• Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and food preparation practices
• Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
• Basic maths skills for processing orders and payments accurately
• Familiarity with kitchen operations or culinary experience is advantageous
• Good organisational skills to handle multiple tables simultaneously
• Ability to upsell menu items tactfully to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
• Effective communication skills to work seamlessly with team members and guests

Pay: £13.50-£17.00 per hour
