J Scott Catering is a premiere catering company serving the Main Line and Philadelphia area. We are searching for

dedicated, hardworking servers interested in becoming part of our Event Staff. J Scott Catering prides itself on

exceptional service, innovative food styles, unique presentation, and unforgettable guest experiences. As part of our

team, you would have the opportunity to work in the finest venues in Phoenixville, Malvern, Chester County, Delaware

County, and the Main Line.

Part-time: based on event needs. Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour plus tips

Job Description
Must be available to work nights, weekends, and some holidays. Must be willing to travel to various event venues.

Weekend availability is required. Venues are not accessible by public transportation. Applicants must have a valid

driver’s license and reliable transportation. Candidates should be hardworking, energetic, professional, and committed

to providing excellent guest experiences. Must work well independently and as part of a team. Position requires

standing for extended periods and lifting heavy items such as tables, chairs, cases of beverages, glassware, and catering

equipment.

J Scott Catering executes hundreds of events per year including weddings, corporate functions, and private events;

providing plenty of opportunities for shifts throughout the season. Flexible scheduling through our staffing app allows

YOU to sign up for the events you want to work. Work as much or as little as your schedule allows.

Server / Driver Positions Available (+$2.00/hr.)
Server/Driver positions require a consistent number of driving shifts in addition to regular serving responsibilities.

Driver responsibilities include:

• Arrive at the commissary prior to event
• Load food and equipment into catering box truck
• Drive company box trucks to venue
• Assist with unloading and setup
• Work the scheduled event shift
• Return truck and equipment to the commissary after event

Driver shifts are typically 10–11 hours long. Driver team members are guaranteed serving shifts.

Qualifications of Ideal Candidate

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation • Positive attitude under pressure

• Ability to lift heavy items and equipment (up to 25lbs) • Team-oriented mindset

• Able to stand for 8–10 hours • Hospitality experience preferred
