Duties

• Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
• Manage customer orders with friendly service, upselling menu items to enhance sales
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment to ensure sanitation compliance
• Process retail sales transactions accurately, including cash register operations and cash handling
• Assist in food safety management by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols
• Support team members with bussing tables, restocking supplies, and maintaining a clean workspace

Requirements

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
• Basic math skills for cash handling, POS transactions, and retail math calculations
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in a restaurant or café setting
• Time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment effectively
• Retail or grocery store experience is a plus but not mandatory; a passion for the food industry is key
