Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments
• Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
• Upsell menu items like specialty drinks or desserts to enhance the guest experience and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support when needed to ensure smooth service flow
• Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage guest seating efficiently
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings, spirits, and menu items based on guest preferences
• Handle guest inquiries professionally, resolve issues promptly, and foster positive guest relations

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or fine dining setting is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for processing transactions accurately
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Experience with beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices in a restaurant environment
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail
• Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus for supporting food prep or assisting in the kitchen area
• OpenTable reservation management experience is desirable for optimizing seating arrangements
