Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive and friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments through POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions, accommodating special requests, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for efficient order processing and billing
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking between serving, bussing, and assisting in the kitchen when necessary
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, food handling procedures, and basic math for accurate cash handling and billing
• Experience with culinary techniques or food preparation is a plus for better understanding of menu items
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and team members seamlessly
