Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and efficiency
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Assist with food handling, food preparation, and bussing tables to support smooth restaurant operations
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, wine pairings, and restaurant promotions to confidently answer guest questions
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and proper food handling procedures at all times

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest concerns professionally
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
• Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities without being pushy
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is a plus but not required; a passion for the food industry is essential
