Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Toast POS, processing sales transactions efficiently.
• Provide expert beverage service, including cocktail mixing, wine knowledge, spirits experience, and drink presentation to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while catering to guest preferences.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
• Clear tables efficiently through bussing and assist with guest requests or concerns to ensure an outstanding dining experience.
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas, bar stations, and dining spaces in compliance with sanitation regulations.

Experience

• Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality settings is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Toast POS is advantageous.
• Experience with fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse situations professionally.
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing sales records.
