Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring proper entry and order accuracy
• Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and presentation
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashiering duties and processing payments efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and guest satisfaction
• Handle guest inquiries or complaints professionally, striving to resolve issues quickly and effectively
• Assist with food preparation when needed, supporting overall restaurant operations during busy periods
• Follow all health regulations related to food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
• Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is highly desirable
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation standards required for safe food handling
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure
• Previous experience in serving or hospitality roles is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 45.0 per week
