Duties

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide knowledgeable recommendations on food and drink options
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Toast POS, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
• Engage with guests to create positive relationships, handle special requests or concerns professionally, and promote a welcoming environment

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently
• Knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits and wine
• Ability to handle cash transactions responsibly while upselling menu items effectively
• Excellent communication skills along with time management abilities to prioritize tasks during busy hours

Compensation: Hourly rate + tips
