Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Serve food, cocktails, spirits, wine, and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
• Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments
• Upsell menu items and drink specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed
• Ensure guest relations are positive by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and providing personalized service
• Support opening or closing duties including setup, breakdown, and inventory checks with POS systems like OpenTable or other restaurant software

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine, and drink presentation techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest interactions professionally
• Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management and organizational skills
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous experience with OpenTable or similar reservation management tools is a plus
