We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Server to join our vibrant hospitality team! Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth flow of service.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing transactions efficiently while upselling menu items like cocktails, wines, or specialty drinks.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
• Provide expert recommendations on menu items, including wine pairings and spirits, to enhance the guest experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols.
• Manage cash handling accurately, processing payments securely through POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms.
• Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, handle special requests professionally, and resolve any concerns promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems, Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is advantageous.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests.
• Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items including spirits, wine, cocktails, and specialty beverages.
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling duties.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Culinary experience or beverage expertise (including cocktail experience) is highly desirable.
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
• Hospitality background with experience in serving guests in a fast-paced setting; nightclub or food industry experience preferred.

Pay: $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
