Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm to set a positive tone for their dining experience
• Accurately take food and beverage orders
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Manage cash handling tasks including cashiering, processing payments, and providing correct change with basic math skills
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery while managing multiple tables through effective time management
• Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
• Assist in food preparation when needed and support restaurant operations during busy periods
• Complete side work in an efficient manner

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience in serving or cashiering roles demonstrating effective time management and multitasking abilities
• Basic math proficiency for cash handling transactions and order calculations
• Background in the food industry or restaurant environment is a plus but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is essential
