Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the dining experience for our guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring all details are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
• Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Monitor guest needs throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly to ensure an enjoyable experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
• Assist with training new staff members in restaurant procedures and best practices for guest service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food handling practices, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations.
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the restaurant's schedule.
