Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! As a Server, you will be the friendly face that creates memorable dining experiences for our guests. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu, highlighting specials and beverage options to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all details are correct for timely processing
• Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Process sales transactions efficiently, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision
• Upsell menu items and beverages to maximize sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including food handling and beverage service stations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly for optimal guest satisfaction

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or hospitality backgrounds
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling cash transactions
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to build guest relations through attentive service
