Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Manage multiple tables efficiently by prioritizing tasks and practicing excellent time management skills
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting other staff when needed
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring guest satisfaction

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or food service experience
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS is a plus
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
• Experience with upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and check splitting
• Knowledge of food industry standards including culinary experience, food preparation, and guest relations
• Serving background is advantageous but not required
