Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring proper presentation and quality
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with accuracy
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and food handling procedures
• Support food preparation and kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations during busy hours

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse customer needs
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper beverage handling techniques
• Experience with wine knowledge, cocktail mixing, spirits service, and drink presentation preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting
