Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments
• Upsell menu items, including cocktails, wines, and specialty drinks, to enhance guest experience
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining proper drink service etiquette
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling and service
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area to ensure a welcoming environment

Requirements

• Previous food service experience in restaurants, fine dining, or nightlife settings is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality
• Knowledge of beverage service, spirits, wine, and cocktail preparation is highly desirable
• Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management skills
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one prior to employment is a plus
• Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and food industry standards
• Nightclub or bar experience including drink service and upselling techniques is advantageous

Pay: $11.41 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
