Server

Server — Prose Kitchen & Bar (Woodland Hills)

Prose is a chef-owned, elevated-casual restaurant on Ventura Blvd serving California cuisine with global influences alongside a full craft bar. We're a tight, family-owned team that cares about great food, warm hospitality, and doing the details right. We're hiring a full-time server who can own a section and make every guest feel taken care of.

What you'll do:

• Run a full-service section with warmth, accuracy, and pace

• Know the menu and bar cold — wine, cocktails, spirits — and guide guests with genuine recommendations

• Fire and serve on Toast POS; manage tickets, timing, and the small touches that make a meal

• Partner with the kitchen and bar to keep service smooth through a rush

• Handle guest questions and solve problems before they become problems

What we're looking for:

• 1+ year of full-service restaurant experience preferred

• Real hospitality instincts — you read a table and anticipate needs

• Comfortable in a fast, high-standards environment

• Solid wine and cocktail knowledge, or the drive to learn it fast

• Reliable, team-first, and sharp on the floor

Pay & perks:

• $18.42/hr base (LA minimum) plus tips — our checks average $80–100 per guest, so strong servers earn well above base

• Shift meals, employee discount, flexible scheduling, paid training, and paid sick time

• A growing, owner-run company where good people move up

If you take pride in the craft of service, we want to meet you. Apply today.
