Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and beverages.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly, demonstrating excellent cocktail, wine, spirits, and beverage service skills.
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales revenue.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including proper food handling and food safety practices.
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas efficiently, and supporting kitchen staff when needed.
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service roles, including fine dining or nightclub environments.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions accurately.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that fosters guest loyalty.
• Ability to multitask effectively while managing time in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Experience with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience preferred; familiarity with OpenTable reservations system is a plus.
