Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive and personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and safety
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, handling cash handling duties with integrity
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations; bus tables promptly to ensure a tidy environment
• Assist with food preparation or bar tending tasks as needed, demonstrating culinary experience and beverage knowledge
• Follow all food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and alcohol service regulations to ensure guest safety
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally
• Support team members during busy periods by collaborating effectively in a fast-paced setting

Experience

• Previous food service experience in restaurants, bars, or nightclubs preferred; fine dining or hospitality background is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Demonstrated ability in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
• Experience in customer service roles with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling duties
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a lively restaurant or nightclub environment
