Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and precision
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Process cash and credit transactions accurately, handling cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with integrity
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for seamless sales transaction processing
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service to enhance guest experiences
• Basic math skills for accurate check splitting, processing payments, and handling sales transactions
• Culinary experience or food industry background helpful for understanding menu offerings and food safety practices
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and ensure guest satisfaction
