Server

Barrett’s Quality Eats is looking for a Server to join our front-of-house team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys taking care of people, works well in a busy restaurant, and takes pride in doing things well. The right candidate will care deeply about hospitality and contribute to a team that works hard and makes every guest feel welcome.

As a Server, you’ll guide guests through their experience, from a warm greeting to a thoughtful goodbye. You’ll be expected to know our menu, communicate clearly, anticipate guests’ needs, and keep service moving at the pace of the restaurant. Your responsibility extends beyond your own tables to the success of the entire shift.

Role and Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service.
• Develop a strong understanding of our food and beverage menus so you can answer questions and make confident recommendations.
• Take and enter orders accurately, communicating allergies, modifications, and special requests clearly.
• Follow our steps of service and timing standards while responding to the needs of each table.
• Stay aware of your section, anticipate what guests need, and follow through without waiting to be asked.
• Address guest concerns promptly and involve a manager when needed.
• Work closely with hosts, bartenders, kitchen staff, and fellow servers to keep service organized and efficient.
• Support the entire dining room by running food, clearing and resetting tables, and helping teammates.
• Handle payments accurately and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Keep dining areas and service stations clean, organized, and stocked.
• Complete opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities consistently.

No experience required. Preference will be given to those with flexible availability.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
