Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems, such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash and process payments accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including food handling and food safety practices
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation and timely delivery of orders
• Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction
• Manage time efficiently during busy periods to serve multiple tables effectively without compromising quality

Experience

• Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing and cashiering
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest engagement
• Experience in food handling, sanitation, and food safety regulations to ensure safe dining environments
• Ability to perform basic math for bill calculations, tips, and cash handling accurately
• Kitchen or food industry experience beneficial for understanding food preparation processes
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours while maintaining high service standards

Pay: $17.60-$28.98 per hour
