Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and answer questions about food, drinks, and specials with enthusiasm.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety.
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling to enhance guest experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols.
• Assist with beverage preparation, including cocktail mixing, wine service, spirits knowledge, and drink garnishing for fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of beverage service, spirits, wine pairings, and cocktail preparation.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions.
• Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail in sales upselling.
• Basic math skills for bill calculations and managing cash handling procedures.
