Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth and welcoming introduction to the dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing sales transactions efficiently and correctly
• Provide detailed menu descriptions, including wine pairings, spirits, cocktails, and food options, while upselling specials and recommended items to enhance guest satisfaction
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation in accordance with food safety regulations
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, stations, and service areas through bussing and sanitation practices; assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring an overall enjoyable dining experience

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is advantageous
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that promotes guest satisfaction
• Ability to handle multiple tables efficiently through effective time management and organization skills
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Experience with beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Culinary experience or kitchen support skills are beneficial but not required; willingness to learn is essential
