Job Summary

Red Owl Tavern is seeking a friendly, attentive, and dependable Restaurant Server to help provide a welcoming dining experience for guests. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, communicates clearly, and can stay organized in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

As a Server, you will greet guests, explain menu options, accurately communicate food and beverage orders, and coordinate with the kitchen and service team to ensure timely service. You will help maintain a comfortable dining atmosphere while following restaurant service and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide attentive, courteous service throughout their visit.
• Explain menu items and answer questions about available food and beverages.
• Record and communicate orders accurately to the kitchen and bar team.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and check that orders are complete.
• Communicate dietary requests and food allergies to the appropriate team members.
• Monitor table needs and respond to guest requests professionally.
• Coordinate with hosts, food runners, bartenders, and kitchen staff.
• Maintain clean and organized tables and service stations.
• Process guest checks and payments accurately using the restaurant's system.
• Follow restaurant policies, sanitation procedures, and responsible service requirements where applicable.

• Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods.
• Reliable attendance and effective teamwork.
• Basic math skills and willingness to learn restaurant ordering systems.

• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability as required.
• Previous restaurant serving experience is helpful but may not be required.
