Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing exceptional service to guests while ensuring a memorable dining experience. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, highlighting daily specials and beverage options.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
• Upsell menu items, including wines, spirits, and desserts, to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, handling cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and assisting with food handling when needed.
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring every guest leaves satisfied.

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub experience.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus.
• Demonstrated skills in customer service, sales, and upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service standards.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing bills confidently.
• Food safety certification and understanding of sanitation practices required; culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $23.01 - $27.71 per hour
