Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, offering personalized recommendations.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales, utilizing knowledge of food industry trends and beverage pairings.
• Manage multiple tables with excellent time management skills, ensuring prompt service while maintaining attention to detail.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately; process payments swiftly while providing clear receipts.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols.
• Assist with food preparation when needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow.
• Foster guest relations through attentive service, addressing special requests or concerns promptly to guarantee a positive dining experience.
• Support overall restaurant operations by collaborating with team members to uphold high standards of hospitality and sanitation.

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing and sales management.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques is desirable.
• Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations ensures compliance with health standards.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating excellent time management skills.
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions confidently.
