Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS ordering system
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities through friendly suggestions and product knowledge
• Process cash, credit card transactions, and sales through POS systems while handling cash safely and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting stations, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments
• Strong familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for efficient order processing
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse needs gracefully
• Knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
