Position

Bella's Italian Cafe in Habersham Village* is hiring a part-time server. Minimum of 1-year fast-paced serving experience required. Basic wine knowledge required. Part-time is 2-3 shifts, with the opportunity to move to full-time (5-6 shifts) and the flexibility of being a second job. We have a number of parents/students/teachers on our team, so schedules tend to shift with the school year.

Responsibilities

Servers are responsible for the guests entire dining experience (greeting, taking drink orders, giving wine suggestions, opening wine table-side, pouring all of your own drinks, ringing in food, making salads, running food, refilling drinks, clearing tables, running the check, handling cash) which is why we require serving experience. Basic wine knowledge includes: memorization of a 32-bottle list (grape/vitner), ample experience opening wine tableside, and knowing what grapes on our list are sweet/dry. Ample training opportunies are available from there! We work as a team, we work hard, we are kind to each other, we clean up & we go home at a reasonable hour with a hot meal in hand. I believe in clear communication and will ask the same of you. You are expected to show up for your shifts, on time, in a clean uniform, with proper server tools, and a positive attitude. -Our POS System is TOAST

-Our scheduling app is SLING.

-I post the schedule a week in advance minimum. I respect availability/unavailability, am perfectly fine with shift swaps/pick-ups once you are fully trained.

-Shifts start at 4:15 & 4:45.

-Shifts end at approx 9:00-10:15. (Generally before 10)

-Shift meal at the end of each shift.

-$2.13 on a bi-weekly paycheck, tips taken home nightly.

-Servers average $200/nightly ranging from $100 on a slow night to $350 on a busy night.
