Duties

• Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and assist with menu selections based on their preferences and dietary needs
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card payments, and upselling opportunities like wine or specialty cocktails using OpenTable or other reservation systems
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling, serving, and clearing tables
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and maintaining a clean dining area throughout your shift
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions about menu items like spirits or wine knowledge, accommodating special requests, and creating a welcoming atmosphere

Skills

• Proven experience in food service roles with a focus on fine dining or casual restaurant environments
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order processing and sales transactions
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse needs gracefully
• Culinary experience or food industry background to better understand menu offerings and food preparation basics
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy service periods while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine pairing, cocktail mixing, and drink presentation techniques
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, change calculation, and sales processing

Pay: $11.98 - $18.00 per hour
