Duties

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner
• Take food and beverage orders accurately
• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner
• Explain menu items and answer customer questions
• Check on guests throughout their meal and respond to requests
• Process payments accurately using the POS system
• Prepare and organize takeout orders
• Clear, clean, and reset tables
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area
• Restock front-of-house supplies as needed
• Assist with washing dishes and utensils as needed
• Assist with opening and closing duties
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members
• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
• Familiarity with POS systems or similar technology is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and billing purposes
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and positive demeanor
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Experience in food industry roles such as serving or kitchen support is advantageous but not required
• Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and revenue
