Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems and handle cashiering responsibilities with precision
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy periods
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for bills and change
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, kitchen stations, and service stations
• Assist with food preparation and food handling as needed, adhering to all food safety protocols
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive dining experience

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of the food industry
• Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering functions
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
• Responsible and trustworthy
• Great teamwork skills with both front and back of house team members
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and upselling opportunities
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced hospitality setting
• Kitchen experience or understanding of food preparation processes is a plus
• Effective communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
