Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
• Serve food, beverages, cocktails, and spirits with professionalism, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, bar areas, and service stations; assist with bussing and resetting tables as needed
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of menu items, wine pairings, and beverage options to assist guests in making informed choices
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly to uphold excellent customer relations

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; familiarity with OpenTable is advantageous
• Culinary experience, including food handling, food preparation, and sanitation standards
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell beverages, spirits, wine knowledge, and menu items confidently to increase sales
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude; guest relations are your top priority
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions
• Knowledge of cocktail mixing, drink service, spirits experience, and wine pairing techniques
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or holidays in a fast-paced hospitality setting

Pay: $18.00 - $27.13 per hour
