Job Summary

Far Bar is seeking a friendly, attentive, and dependable Server to help provide a welcoming dining experience for guests. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy restaurant environment.

The Server will greet guests, explain menu options, take orders accurately, coordinate with kitchen and bar staff, and ensure that food and beverages are delivered efficiently. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys hospitality, works well with a team, and takes pride in providing attentive service.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide attentive, professional service throughout their visit.
• Present menus and answer questions about food and beverage options.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
• Communicate special requests and order modifications to kitchen and bar staff.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and check that orders are correct.
• Monitor table needs and respond to guest requests in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with team members to maintain efficient service.
• Process payments and handle receipts according to restaurant procedures.
• Keep tables, service stations, and dining areas clean and organized.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol-service procedures where applicable.
• Assist with opening, closing, and side-work duties as assigned.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and seek management assistance when needed.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy service periods.
• Basic point-of-sale and payment-processing skills are an advantage.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work cooperatively with kitchen, bar, and service teams.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry service trays safely.
• Availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as required.
• Any required alcohol-service certification must comply with applicable local regulations.
