Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and assist with menu selections to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to maximize sales opportunities
• Manage cash handling duties accurately, process payments including credit card transactions via OpenTable or other POS systems, and provide correct change
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly

Experience

• Previous food service or restaurant experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Experience with cocktail preparation, wine knowledge, spirits service, and beverage presentation is highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability in upselling and sales techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
• Familiarity with fine dining standards or nightclub service is a plus
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs effectively
