Server – Sukiyaki Restaurant

We are looking for passionate and service-oriented individuals to join our team as a Server at our Japanese Sukiyaki restaurant. If you have a passion for hospitality, an interest in Japanese cuisine, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent guest service through friendly, attentive, and professional interactions.
• Assist guests with Sukiyaki preparation and cooking at the table, ensuring an enjoyable dining experience.
• Explain menu items and ingredients, including beef, vegetables, sauces, and traditional Japanese Sukiyaki cooking methods.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and ensure timely service.
• Maintain table presentation, cleanliness, and restaurant hygiene at all times.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards when handling and serving food.
• Recommend menu items and beverages based on guests’ preferences.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Server or in the food and beverage industry is preferred.
• Friendly, polite, and customer-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to learn about Japanese cuisine and Sukiyaki preparation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good personal grooming and a professional appearance.
• Basic English proficiency is preferred. Mandarin and Japanese language skills are a plus, but not required.
