Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate excellent customer service skills, and possess a strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings. This role involves engaging with guests, taking orders, processing transactions accurately, and ensuring a memorable visit for every guest.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take food and beverage orders accurately, utilizing POS systems efficiently
• Process sales transactions swiftly and accurately, including handling cash and credit card payments
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, including wine selections and fine dining options
• Assist in setting up and clearing tables to ensure a clean and inviting environment
• Provide recommendations to guests based on their preferences and answer any questions about the menu or wine list
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards by adhering to food handlers certification requirements
• Work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tables
• Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service and uphold high standards of hospitality

Requirements

• Previous food service experience, preferably in fine dining settings
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for processing transactions and making change
• Experience using POS systems for sales processing
• Knowledge of wine and beverage offerings is highly desirable
• Must be quick on your feet with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
• Food handlers certification required; TABC certification preferred for alcohol service compliance
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
