Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards and proper beverage service techniques
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, ensuring proper handling of cash handling and sales transactions
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and food handling procedures
• Assist with food preparation, garnishing drinks, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Experience with fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse customer needs
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs confidently
• Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation standards is advantageous
• Experience in upselling menu items to increase sales while providing genuine recommendations

Pay: $23.19 - $27.92 per hour
