Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through friendly service, expert knowledge, and efficient operations. Your enthusiasm for food and beverage service, combined with your ability to manage multiple tables and tasks seamlessly, will create memorable moments for our guests. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive seating arrangements
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication of guest preferences
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety, including food handling and sanitation protocols
• Upsell menu items, including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently using POS systems like OpenTable or other sales transaction tools
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations through bussing and sanitation practices
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, wine pairings, spirits, and cocktail options based on guest preferences

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or bars
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order entry and sales processing
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to build guest relations
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail in math calculations
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Experience with beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining quality service
• Previous experience in hospitality roles such as host/hostess or bartender is a plus
• Basic math skills for processing payments and managing sales transactions confidently
