Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly, assist with seating when needed, and provide attentive and professional customer service.
• Present menus and explain food and beverage selections, including ingredients, preparation methods, and available recommendations.
• Take customer orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation and compliance with Japonesa's service standards.
• Coordinate with the kitchen, bar, cashier, and other service staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery.
• Familiarize oneself with the Japanese-Peruvian fusion menu, including signature dishes, cocktails, and recommended food and beverage pairings.
• Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and respond promptly to their needs.
• Handle customer questions and concerns professionally and refer complaints to the Captain Waiter or Restaurant Manager when necessary.
• Prepare and maintain table settings, including cutlery, glassware, napkins, and other service essentials.
• Keep tables, service stations, and assigned areas clean, organized, and ready for service.
• Assist in clearing tables, resetting dining areas, and maintaining restaurant cleanliness throughout the shift.
• Ensure accurate handling of customer bills, payment requests, and other transactions in accordance with company procedures.
• Follow proper food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and service protocols at all times.
• Coordinate with fellow servers and other departments to maintain efficient restaurant operations.
• Attend shift briefings, training sessions, and meetings as required by management.
• Maintain proper grooming, punctuality, professionalism, and compliance with company policies.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Captain Waiter, Restaurant Manager, or Management.

Qualifications:

• At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in restaurant service is preferred; fresh graduates or applicants with relevant customer service experience may also be considered.
• Experience in upscale dining, casual fine dining, or high-volume restaurants is an advantage.
• Knowledge of basic food and beverage service procedures.
• Willingness to learn about Japanese-Peruvian fusion cuisine, menu ingredients, and beverage offerings.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Friendly, approachable, and attentive to guest needs.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Strong attention to detail, especially in order taking and food and beverage delivery.
• Able to follow instructions and work effectively with the kitchen, bar, cashier, and service team.
• Knowledge of POS systems is an advantage.
• Familiarity with food safety, sanitation, and proper hygiene practices is preferred.
• Professional appearance, good grooming, and a positive work attitude.
• Honest, responsible, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Willing to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and carrying food and beverage trays as required.

Pay: Php19,000.00 - Php20,000.00 per month
