Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as TOAST POS
• Serve food, cocktails, wine, spirits, and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, including handling tips and processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist with food preparation, beverage garnishing, and ensuring timely delivery of orders in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub experience
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse needs
• Ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting while multitasking between serving, taking orders, and processing transactions
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales transaction processing
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service standards
• Food safety certification and understanding of sanitation practices in food handling environments
• Previous experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus
