Duties

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in sales transactions processing
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Provide exceptional guest service by addressing questions about menu items, making recommendations, and handling special requests with professionalism

Skills

• Extensive experience with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and other restaurant POS platforms
• Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
• Culinary experience combined with beverage expertise such as cocktail mixing, wine knowledge, spirits experience, and drink service
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Proven ability in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while delivering outstanding guest service
• Previous restaurant experience in fine dining or nightclub settings preferred
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
