Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation standards are met
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
• Upsell menu items including cocktails,specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, bar stations, and service stations
• Assist with food handling, prep support, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for seamless order processing
• Proven experience in food service environments such as restaurants or nightclubs with a focus on fine dining or casual dining settings
• Strong culinary knowledge including food preparation techniques and beverage service expertise in spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and foster positive relationships
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, processing transactions, and calculating bills or tips
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices to ensure a safe dining environment
• Previous experience in hospitality roles such as host/hostess or bartender is a plus but not required
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction
