Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, including sales upselling to enhance guest experience
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in line with food safety regulations and food handling protocols
• Assist in food preparation and kitchen support as needed to ensure timely service
• Upsell menu items like cocktails, wines, spirits, or specialty dishes to maximize sales opportunities
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for processing sales transactions
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
• Ability to multitask effectively with strong time management skills in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and processing bills efficiently
• Food safety certification and sanitation practices knowledge to ensure compliance with health standards
• Experience with food industry terminology and restaurant operations to deliver seamless service
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Hospitality background with a focus on guest relations and memorable experiences

Pay: $16.90 per hour
