Server

We are on the lookout for a friendly and attentive Server to join Sloop's brewery tasting room and restaurant team! In this role, you'll be the face of our establishment, creating memorable dining experiences by providing excellent guest service and ensuring smooth food and beverage delivery. The ideal candidate is energetic, personable, and passionate about hospitality, with a knack for multitasking and a genuine desire to make guests feel welcome. A love for or interest in local craft beer is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Serve customers with a welcoming attitude, answer questions, and provide information about food and drink specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using our POS system.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Process sales transactions accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with attention to detail.
• Upsell menu items like appetizers, desserts, or daily special items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and communicate any guest needs or concerns promptly.
• Continue to develop your knowledge of Sloop's beer offerings and communicate with customers to ensure a one-of-a-kind brewery experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or craft breweries is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of beverage service, specifically with regard to craft beer.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse guests from around the world.
• Ability to handle food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Availability during our restaurants hours.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
