Job Summary

Romano's Pizza is seeking a friendly, dependable, and guest-focused Restaurant Server to provide welcoming service and help create a positive dining experience. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a busy restaurant, communicating clearly with guests, and coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure orders are served accurately and promptly.

The Restaurant Server will greet guests, explain menu options, take food and beverage orders, deliver meals, and help maintain a clean and organized dining area.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and help them feel comfortable upon arrival.
• Present menus and explain available pizzas, appetizers, beverages, and other menu items.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen.
• Serve food promptly and confirm that orders are correct.
• Respond politely to guest questions and special requests.
• Check on guests during their meals and address concerns professionally.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and other servers to maintain efficient service.
• Process payments accurately using the restaurant's payment system.
• Keep tables, service stations, and dining areas clean and organized.
• Restock menus, utensils, napkins, and other service supplies.
• Follow food-safety, hygiene, and restaurant service procedures.
• Assist with opening, closing, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant or serving experience is preferred but may not be required.
• Strong communication and guest-service skills.
• Friendly attitude and professional appearance.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail when taking and delivering orders.
• Basic math skills and comfort handling payments.
• Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
