Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system ensuring all special requests are noted
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
• Upsell menu items by recommending popular dishes, beverages, or specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately through POS terminals
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards
• Foster positive guest relations by responding promptly to inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments is desirable, but not required
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations swiftly
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours
• Experience in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest enjoyment
