Job Summary

The Flavour Bomb Kitchen is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Server to provide excellent service and help create a welcoming dining experience for guests. The successful candidate will take food and drink orders, serve meals, respond to customer requests, and work closely with kitchen and front-of-house colleagues. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy restaurant environment.

Job Description

• Welcome guests and help them feel comfortable when they arrive.
• Present menus and answer questions about food and drink options.
• Take customer orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen team.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Check with guests to ensure they are satisfied with their meals.
• Respond politely to customer questions, requests, and concerns.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to help ensure orders are prepared correctly.
• Prepare tables before service and clear them after guests finish dining.
• Keep dining areas, tables, and service stations clean and organised.
• Process customer bills and payments accurately when required.
• Inform customers about menu options and communicate dietary requests to the kitchen.
• Follow food hygiene, health and safety, and workplace cleanliness procedures.
• Replenish cutlery, napkins, condiments, and other service supplies.
• Support colleagues during busy service periods.
• Assist with opening, closing, and general restaurant duties.
• Report customer feedback or service issues to the supervisor.
• Carry out other reasonable duties to support the restaurant team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant, café, or customer service role is beneficial but not essential.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail when taking and serving orders.
• Good time-management and organisational skills.
• Ability to remain calm and efficient during busy periods.
• Basic numeracy skills for handling bills and payments.
• Understanding of food hygiene and safe working practices, or willingness to learn.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays when required.

Pay: £16.00-£28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 per week
